Calculator inputs and results are processed in your browser. tarp.tools does not require an account and does not intentionally send the measurements you enter to our servers.
Hosting and security logs
The site is hosted through Cloudflare. Like most web infrastructure providers, Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request headers, timestamps, device or browser information, and security events to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability. Cloudflare’s handling is governed by its own policies.
Contact messages
If you submit a public GitHub issue, we receive the information you choose to provide. We use it to respond, investigate, and improve the site. Issue content is visible to others.
Advertising and cookies
If Google AdSense is enabled on the site, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve and measure advertising. Google’s use of advertising cookies may enable it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site or other sites.
Users can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. More information is available in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Where required, consent choices will be presented before personalized advertising technologies are used.
Analytics
We may use privacy-conscious traffic measurement to understand page performance and aggregate usage. We do not ask users to create behavioral profiles from calculator measurements.
Links to other sites
Guides link to government, standards, manufacturer, and other external resources. Their privacy practices are separate from ours.
Data choices and questions
You can use the calculators without submitting personal information. For a privacy question about information you posted, use the public issue tracker without adding personal or confidential details.
Changes
We may update this policy when hosting, analytics, advertising, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be revised.
